Welcome to Lavistown House- Centre for Creative Living
Lavistown is a restful and inspiring place where you can focus without day-to-day interruptions; it is a perfect venue for running or attending courses. There is a workroom and lunch room for 10-15 people and a small kitchen for food preparation. We provide free tea and coffee; there is wifi and the centre is wheelchair accessible. You can also enjoy the newly planted gardens and share in their development
It is only 5 kilometres from Kilkenny and within easy reach of motorways and rail services.
Our Courses & Events
Monthly Garden Workshops
A monthly Garden Workshop allows you learn to garden with a like-minded group of fellow gardeners – all levels welcome. The aim is to have a social, fun group while taking part in hands-on demonstrations, Q&A sessions and getting to see the development of the gardens at Lavistown. The dates for 2016 are shown below. The cost is €30, pay on the day. The course starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm with lunch and handouts included in the cost. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
